We are an ad-hoc choir with the emphasis on restoring Sacred Music to church services in its liturgical context as opposed to the concert hall or recording studio... Members, who are all volunteers, are at present based in the North of England, the East Midlands, and in Scotland.

2006 marked our 10th Anniversary! We commemorated this by singing services in North-East England, Yorkshire and the East Midlands, as well as celebrating with the 10th Anniversary Mass & Party in June! In 2007 we returned to Brinkburn Priory and Everingham near York. We hope to visit Stow Minster for the first time next year. Future Services include the European Premier Liturgical performance of the Missa Summi et Aeterni Sacerdoti by Jeff Ostrowski. We returned to Barnard Castle for the Annual Founders Day Requiem [and will be going back next year!] and we shall return to the Greek Orthodox Church in Leeds next year for a Pan-Orthodox Service. 2007 also marked the start of us singing regular services [usually from The Divine Office] in York City Centre at St Mary's Church, Bishophill Junior, York where we have been made to feel so welcome. We sing Compline and, occasionally, Vespers regularly. More details & dates will be added as and when we get them! Check the Calendar for further details!

* * * VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED * * * We are looking for volunteers of all voices, (SATB), particularly Altos and Tenors. It doesn't matter where you're from, because we sing anywhere, and in any church - within reason! The closer you are to Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire, the better though, as this region is where most of our events take place. contact me, Mike Forbester.
